There are many options for patients who have missing, broken or bad teeth.
We can make two types of devices: removable and non-removable.
Removable appliances such as dentures or “false teeth” are often an option for individuals with multiple broken, infected, or decayed teeth. They are cost-effective and relatively durable. We usually take a mold after removing hopeless teeth, and send it to a laboratory where a custom denture is made to match your smile.
Nowadays, miniature implants can help secure dentures in place and also provide an alternative to certain single missing teeth in the front area of the mouth.
Another option is a dental bridge, a fixed and permanent structure, that gives a nice result.
During a visit to the dental clinic we review all of your options and look at the best possible plan to meet your budget and esthetic needs. Our office provides convenient financing options and accepts most all of the insurances. Call today for your consultation! 206-659-4888
With the removable dentures, what type of adhesive is best for keeping them locked into place while I eat, drink, talk?
From patients, I have heard that Super Poligrip and Fixodent are popular options. The stability and security of the denture really depends on how well it fits, and how much bone it has to grab on to. You may need an evaluation to check on this.
Do you offer dental implants? I have been trying to find affordable dentures implants for a while and it’s really difficult.
We offer mini implants to secure dentures. Usually you need a minimum of 4 to stabilize a denture. It acts like a magnet to lock it in place. Normally implants cost $1200 a piece, however, if you get all 4 done at the same time we can quote you a discounted price. Also, we offer payment plans to in-house financing to make it easier to pay off the treatment in an extended amount of time. You may set up an appointment to look at all of the options and go over all of the details. We would be happy to answer questions for you, Jacob.
