North Seattle dentist Dr. Ilona Furman has been proud to call Washington her home for over 20 years.  Pursuing her interest in dentistry from a young age by working as an assistant for dentists including her sister, she was determined to do what she loved.  Dr. Furman graduated from the University of Washington undergraduate program in Biology, and attended the prestigious University of Washington School of Dentistry, ranked among the top three in the United States.

To further her skills and understanding of dentistry, Dr. Furman spent two consecutive years doing clinical research projects in the specialty fields of periodontics and orthodontics, respectively. Completing multiple hours of continuing education to improve the health and well-being of each patient, Dr. Furman is committed to advancing her skills and staying up-to-date.   She had the privilege of working in modern private practice before opening her own office.  With experience using CAD/CAM Cerec technology to design, fabricate and seat custom crowns in one visit to her patients, Dr. Furman is excited to bring her knowledge, gentle care and expertise to All Smiles Family Dentistry at the Northwest Dental Center.

In her spare time, Dr. Furman enjoys playing tennis, painting with watercolors, taking photographs, and hiking local trails with her husband. She is proud to be a member of affiliations like the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, King County Dental Society, and local study clubs.

Dr. Furman is fluent in the Russian language and can speak some Spanish.

 

Meet LUCY, Licensed Dental Assistant and Front Office Administrator

 

Lucy is happy to join All Smiles Family Dentistry. She would love to answer your questions, discuss treatment options and set up an appointment. Lucy was born in a small town of Novui Oleksinets, Ukraine. She has always been passionate about dentistry and wanted to become a dental assistant (DA) from a young age. Upon receiving her license, Lucy has volunteered and worked as a DA in a busy office equipped with modern technology, providing patients with high quality assistance. Lucy’s goal is to educate patients and make them feel comfortable about receiving the care they need. Fluently speaking English, Ukrainian, and Russian languages, Lucy has the customer service skills necessary to make patients look forward to coming back to our office. In her spare time Lucy enjoys doing outdoor activities with her husband and friends; such as snowboarding, quading and bike riding. Traveling and taking long road trips have always been her favorite.

 

Meet ANNA, Patient Care Coordinator / Front Office

 

Anna is thrilled to join All Smiles Family Dentistry. Originally from Minsk, Belarus, she brings an interesting cultural perspective to our multilingual office. Having extensive experience in customer service and a dental assistant diploma, Anna would be happy to discuss treatment planning and dental care with you. Her organization and attention to detail make Anna a valuable member of our team. Three things Anna considers important to patient care are: honesty, punctuality and understanding.   In her spare time, Anna is a worship leader at her church, and enjoys singing as well as playing the piano.
