Exams, Screening & Assement
As part of your diagnostic exam, we take digital X-Rays followed by a visual oral exam. If a patient has a history of smoking or the hygienist / dentist notice a suspicious lesion during the cleaning we can use the non-invasive, blue-light technology of the VELscope to conduct an oral cancer screening at no extra charge. We absolutely care about the health and well-being of each patient and feel it is our responsibility to keep you well informed.

3D-Imaging and Scanning
Are you hoping to improve your smile? Now it is so easy with the 3D scanner and outcome simulator. We can also start you on a path to excellent oral hygiene by straightening the teeth with Invisalign Clear Braces. There are many health benefits to this treatment. It is simple and easy to do unlike traditional metal braces with wires. Dr. Furman has special training in CAD/CAM technology withover 10 years of experience in the field, working with certified CEREC trainers.

Preventive & Deep Teeth Cleanings
If plaque and tartar is left on the teeth, it provides the right conditions for bacteria to thrive. The bacteria irritate the gums which means that they bleed more easily. This is the early stage of gum disease called gingivitis. The advancement of gum inflammation can lead to bone loss or periodontitis. If you have gum disease and/or bone loss it is important to come in for a visit sooner rather than later.

Root Canals
When decay reaches the nerve of your tooth, a Root Canal Treatment is recommended to avoid extraction. This procedure entails removing the decay and the nerve from within the tooth, then filling and sealing the space to prevent further bacterial infection.

Tooth-colored, Mercury-free Fillings
For teeth that have cavities or small chips with no nerve involvement, we apply a filling shaped and colored like a natural tooth. (No more silver fillings!)

Crowns and Bridges
A dental crown is a custom-made, tooth-shaped cap that completely covers a damaged tooth, restoring its shape, size and strength. Dental crowns are used to restore tooth damage caused by injury, decay, root canals, bite problems or natural wear. A bridge is a device that replaces missing teeth and uses adjacent teeth as anchors, giving a natural looking result.

Dental Implants
A solution for tooth loss. A dental implant is an artificial titanium tooth root that the doctor places into your jaw bone to hold a replacement tooth. Dental implants are an ideal option for people with good general oral health. An implant crown or cap fits over the top.

Extractions
For hopeless cases that cannot be saved, we recommend removing the diseased, infected, or broken teeth in the least traumatic way possible.

Children and Teens
We offer children gentle cleanings, exams, fluoride, and sealants to prevent teeth from developing cavities. We treat cavities with tooth colored fillings. Six month check-ups are recommended. Dr. Ilona Furman is a mother outside of the dental office and takes great care to educate her children on the importance of oral hygiene. Growing up with dental issues herself, Dr. Furman feels that the sooner a child can grasp the concept of oral care, the better off they’ll be in life.

Dentures
This is a removable device with artificial teeth to make up for missing teeth. A denture will help you chew, smile and live life to the fullest. It is recommended when there are multiple areas of missing teeth.

Mouthguards
A mouthguard is designed to help prevent wear and breakage of your teeth. Many people do not realize that they grind or clench at night and may be causing irreversible damage. Mouthguards are preventative and protective removable appliances custom made to fit!
