As part of your diagnostic exam, we take digital X-Rays followed by a visual oral exam. If a patient has a history of smoking or the hygienist / dentist notice a suspicious lesion during the cleaning we can use the non-invasive, blue-light technology of the VELscope to conduct an oral cancer screening at no extra charge.
