Dr. Ilona Furman, UW Alum
Northwest dentist, Dr. Ilona Furman, followed her childhood career dreams and attended the prestigious University of Washington School of Dentistry, ranked among the top three in the United States. She developed two dental practices from scratch between 2012 and 2018 with the desire to provide exceptional care using advanced technology, offering comfort and convenience all in one place. This could not be accomplished without a wonderful team of healthcare professionals working in our company.
I believe that I can take care of patients optimally if I am always growing and learning as a provider. I travel around the country to learn from the experts, as part of continuing education. I am interested in technology, gentle methods, taking care of people for a quality life. As a child I had many oral health problems and suffered through needless extractions and long orthodontic work that made me think: how can we prevent this from happening to others? What can I do today to make my patients have better outcomes in less-invasive and traumatic ways?
I hope to build trust with each person and a customized treatment plan. Special interests include painting/artwork: watercolor, acrylic, oil- my work is displayed in both locations. Artistry and dentistry go hand in hand. We are trying to create a beautiful, natural smile with healthy tissue and golden proportions. My 30 years of art has helped shape my love for dentistry.
As a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, which is ranked among the top dental programs in the nation, I am proud to be a product of this local school where I also completed my undergraduate studies in biology. My passion for dentistry began at the age of eight, inspired by a family legacy of care that includes both my sister and my uncle. Today, I remain deeply committed to clinical excellence through numerous affiliations with professional dental organizations and a dedication to ongoing continuing education.

In her spare time, Dr. enjoys volunteering at King County Free Dental Day, mentoring aspiring dental students, playing tennis, painting, taking photographs, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband, daughter and son. She is fluent in Slavic languages and can speak some Spanish. She received Seattle Met Top Dentist honor for 2019-2025.
In June 2025, Dr. Furman was honored with the “2K Club Award” at the iOX Digital Dentistry Conference in Irvine, California for completing over 2000 advanced level CAD/CAM cases in Advanced Smile Design with the IO system (one of eight clinics in the country). A Creative Vision
Her favorite hobby for over 30 years has been watercolors, oils and acrylic paintings. “I love that art and dentistry go hand in hand. Focusing on the small details brings me the greatest satisfaction!” You will find doc’s original paintings hanging in our two clinics. She am currently focusing on live figure drawing and portrait sculpture.
